Survivors of Easter Sunday, April 5 attacks on Debe community in Shanga LGA of Kebbi state said victims cut across Christian, Islamic and traditional religions.
Amnesty International Nigeria quoted the victims as stating this in a statement on Friday.
The human rights group strongly condemned the attack, which claimed 24 lives.
According to residents who were displaced by the violence, the attackers struck the community on the evening of Easter Sunday.
A resident told Amnesty International: “The killers were on rampage. During the attack they killed Muslims, Christians and followers of traditional religion. They killed every human being they came across.”

Amnesty said many families have been left without shelter after several homes were burned in the attack.
A Catholic church — an outstation of Sacred Heart Parish Shafa — was completely razed.
At least 14 shops belonging to local traders were also set ablaze, destroying goods and livelihoods.
The attack displaced many residents, forcing families to flee their homes and seek safety in nearby communities.
“Amnesty International calls on the Nigerian authorities to conduct a prompt, thorough and impartial investigation and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
“The authorities must also provide protection and urgent humanitarian assistance to displaced residents and support affected communities as they begin to rebuild their lives,” the group said.
