There Is No Substitute for Determination and Diligence, Says Mathieu Arseneault
The definition of success may differ from person to person, but they all have one thing in common. It’s one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. After years of hard work, dedication, and a desire to help the community, renowned real estate agent Mathieu Arseneault firmly believes that success is indeed a journey and not merely a destination.
Mathieu Arseneault says, “A life lived well is a life that is celebrated each day in all its forms.” This is one of the reasons why he considers himself a family man before anything else. Although he has sold more than 5000 homes in Outaouais and has over 20 years of experience under his belt, he finds his greatest joy in being a father and a husband.
Arseneault further says, “We all define what success means to us differently. And that’s okay. When you try to copy others and use their definition of success as your cheat code in life, you’ll miss out on a whole dimension of what it means to find your feet. And those feet, whether you use them to stroll in the park or to arrive at your destination, are what count the most. For me, success means being a loving father, a provider, and a good human being, journeys that I look forward to each day. That itself has been quite a ride. Anyone who has become successful in their field knows the importance of sacrifice. I have lost count of the number of important days and other family commitments that I had to miss to be able to provide the best for my family. In the end, for me, that’s what the hard work was for anyway. And being a real estate agent is the journey I walk only to reach all these destinations every day!”
Mathieu Arseneault wears his heart on his sleeve. He loves to work and loves to spend time with family. For him, it was all about finding that right balance, finding that true purpose that allows work to become a pleasure. He says, “I am an optimist but not an over-optimist. I like to give back to the community that has shown tremendous faith in me. Contrary to many, I live each day as if it’s my first!” Wise words indeed to live by!
