It was a night of prestige, innovation, and celebration as The Ultimate Awards 2025 honored West Africa’s Top 10 Digital Technology Game Changers on August 31 at the Aurora Conference & Events Centre, Osogbo, Osun State.

The glamorous ceremony, directed by Dr. Seun Olatunji, Founder and Project Director of The Ultimate Awards, brought together industry leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and thought shapers to recognize extraordinary individuals who are transforming Africa’s digital landscape.

The recipients were carefully selected for their groundbreaking solutions, outstanding leadership, and significant contributions to technology across the sub-region.

The 2025 Honorees

Opeyemi Waheed — Founder of City Errand, a tech-driven logistics and delivery solution making errands reliable, safe, and simple in urban communities. His innovation earned him the Outstanding Logistics & Delivery Tech Leader 2025.

Kolawole Moses Olatunji — CEO of GetAPlace, developed by Mozhay Luxury Realty, emerged as one of the standout honorees. His tech-driven real estate platform is revolutionizing how Nigerians and Africans at large rent, buy, and book properties by integrating secure digital payments, smart contracts, and AI-powered verification to fight fraud. He was celebrated as the Outstanding Real Estate & PropTech Disruptor 2025.

Adejoke Taiwo Adegbenro — Awarded as the Outstanding Technology and Community Impact Leader 2025, Adejoke is a data scientist and business intelligence expert dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented groups. Through her initiative DashWhispers, she provides free online classes, mentorship, and practical training in data analytics, helping young professionals and students transition into tech careers.

 

Bukunmi Akinfenwa — Founder of TicketAura, a new-age ticketing platform designed to eliminate the chaos of event organizing. Using blockchain to prevent fake tickets, AI for smart sales strategies, and transparent fees for organizers, the platform makes event planning and ticket purchase seamless. He was recognized as the Outstanding Event-Tech & Experience Innovator 2025.

Vincent F. Egbeola — The visionary behind NaijaTuale (naijatuale.ng), a digital entertainment platform that captures emerging tech, streaming trends, and music distribution mechanics. He received the award for Outstanding Digital Media Innovator 2025.

Olalere Sakirudeen Olamilekan — CEO of Vintage Aura Multi-Concept Ltd, a creative and lifestyle tech hub offering diverse technology-based solutions for businesses and individuals. He was recognized as the Outstanding Creative & Lifestyle Tech Innovator 2025.

Allen Davis Mike — From Liberia, Allen Davis is the CEO of Hadlek Global, a pioneering tech-travel brand making travel experiences seamless through digital platforms. He received the Outstanding TravelTech & Regional Connector 2025.

Olugbenga Agboola — The CEO of Flutterwave, one of Africa’s largest payment technology companies, has been instrumental in redefining cross-border commerce. His award for Outstanding FinTech (Payments) Trailblazer 2025 underlines his role in advancing Africa’s digital economy.

Juliet Ehimuan — Tech executive and former Google West Africa Director, Juliet is the founder of Beyond Limits Africa and an advocate for leadership and gender inclusion in technology. She received the Outstanding Leadership & Gender Inclusion in Tech 2025.

Ndubuisi Ekekwe — Founder of First Atlantic Semiconductors & Microelectronics, Ndubuisi is known for groundbreaking work in embedded systems and deep tech hardware solutions in Africa. He was honored as the Outstanding Deep Tech & Hardware Innovator 2025.
