It’s a new day. That’s not my line, though. It is my Spiritual Father’s. Global Ba’aba, Dr Abel Damina of Power City International, says that to me every time, notwithstanding time of day.
Almost always, I catch a certain feeling once he utters those words. My ever hyperactive mind would wander off, optimistically; cascading over plains of possibilities. Sunshine would descend into my mind; offering the kind of illumination that’s so beyond explanation and understanding. This offers me enough reason and double energy not only to go through the rest of the day but also to face another.
The year of our Lord 2024 is a new day. A slow and steady year, loaded with mind-blowing opportunities. We have more than enough cause and more than enough strength not only to live through it but also, more importantly, to eat its good. Glllooorrryyy!
For sure, rumours of disease and of war and of death shall not cease. In fact, small gee -the known adversary- who prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour, shall work overtime. There shall be pestilence, there shall be wars, there shall be deaths. A thousand shall fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand but none (not a single one) shall come near let alone touch us and ours.
Because there is -for all of us and all of ours- safety on all sides. Fear not, we and all of ours are preserved. We and all of ours are kept by the keeper who neither slumbers nor sleeps. Fear not, I say, fear not: no shaking.
2024 is a new day. The sun cannot smite any of us or any of ours by day, nor can the moon dare by night. The LORD, our Father, watches over our coming and going: now and forevermore. God is and shall always be our refuge and strength: an ever-present help in trouble.
He sustains all of us and all of ours. He never lets the righteous be shaken. When we are afraid, we put our trust in Him and such fears are quashed instanta. What we were given is not the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Fear not, no matter how dark clouds gather or how heavy rains pour. Fear not, no matter how numerous and powerful and convincing your accusers are or how biased and desperate and determined the judge is. Fear not, no matter how urgent the drums of war beat or how near invaders seem. Fear not, no matter what false evidence your mind makes to appear real or what ungodly intimidation is flung at you.
2024 is a new day. We and all of ours are alive and alive, we cannot die. We and all of ours believe the LORD’s report, not Satan’s negative nonsense. We and all of ours build and inhabit, plant and harvest, never would another take our place or share.
Glllooorrryyyy! We and all of ours have won the race. We and all of ours find favour from God and from man. We and all of ours are anxious for nothing. We and all of ours are prayerful and thankful.
The Big Man who sits high up there has programmed for us a way in the wilderness complete with rivers in the desert. It is a new package. It is springing forth. We and all of ours not only see it, we and all of ours in addition enjoy it.
Relax, dear selves and all of ours, relax. 2024 is a new day. It is the acceptable year of the Lord. Arise, shine; for light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon all of us.
He contends off all those who limit all of us and all of ours. For the nation and kingdom that do not serve all of us and all of ours perish; yea, those nations are utterly wasted. The sons also of them who afflict(ed) any of us and any of ours come bending unto us; and all they who despised any of us and any of ours bow themselves down at the soles of our feet; and they call all of us; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. The vengeance, the restoration; the everything is massive and total.
We and all of ours have double for all of our troubles. Everything that locusts, caterpillars and co. stole is given back a thousand fold to all of us and all of ours. We make to count our losses and are shocked to see that there’s none. Rather, we see that gains, so much of them, entered our lives and business and career while men were busy poking fun at us over what they misconstrued were our losses.
2024 is a new day; the year that the LORD has made. We and all of ours rejoice and are glad in it. Our life, our journey, our work; our everything is made easy. No more affliction, no more fear, no more untimely death.
A table of honour is all set before all of us and all of ours. The favour is too much. Children of God are back in charge. Pikin or kids of Satan are sitting in the sand waiting for crumbs and to clear the table.
This must be what my friend, Vintage Pat Akpabio, calls babygirl life. We work like an ant, but we eat like an elephant. This is the new deal. We harvest what others planted and inhabit where they built.
2024 is a new day, a babygirl year. I love the thought as well as the feel of it and even more its picturesqueness the way my mind’s eye sees it. It is a delectable year. Such a beauty to behold and to experience.
Unfortunately, this is not for everyone. Some are coming down. These dozen months bear unexpected overthrows: economic, political and social. Shockwaves are coming, wotowoto: up and down; wahala, wahala, wahala.
Fortunately, all of us and all of ours are exempt; we are a set-aside family. It is unbelievable how, within the count of 12, rejects become chief of the corner while hitherto chief cornerstones replace them down under. Promotion or demotion and success or failure shall happen like lightning; speedily. Bookmakers and soothsayers shall function amiss because this is not the year for nonsense: be warned, this is the year by, for and of excellence.
2024 is a new day, a no-nonsense year. Those with blood-stained hands should hurry up and seek genuine peace with nature. It can be done, right now; today because tomorrow shall be too late. They cannot bear what’s coming.
Blackmail is doomed. Every ungodly strategy fails. Plotters come to nought. There’s in the realm of the spirit an alarming quantity of disappointment to be supplied to counter the devices of the crafty, so that their hands performeth not their enterprise.
Dear Children of the Most High, please rejoice; celebrate all you can. Freedom is here coupled with restoration and compensation and a future beyond the expected end. It is glorious. Glllooorrryyy!
As its first week has already proved beyond both reasonable and unreasonable doubt, 2024 is a new day. We thank Abba Father for this year of favour and grace and mercy. We and all of ours are blessed and kept beyond the years. Heaven is here, now.

Special gratitude 2023
There can be no better time than anytime to say thank you. Even as an atheist, go on your knees and thank God, the Creator. Don’t be silly, He’s done for you what your self-imposed identity crisis won’t let you do for yourself.
Someone who fails to acknowledge their source denies self. For God to still preserve such a one, God is beyond good. Thank you, Abba Father, for everyone and for everything and above all for making us us.
Next, remember to say a prayer for your helpers: your family, your teachers, your priests, your mentors, your benefactors, your leaders, your team, et al. Gratitude Class Three is peopled by a special breed whom you can’t forget to also appreciate: those you helped. Think about it, there are people who have so much to share but no one wants their help.
Four, don’t be too short-sighted that you never see reasons to say thankyou to those who either delayed or refused you help. Delay or refusal is a good thing in that it extends the period for us to know our real friends and enemies firsthand. If you had the good thing you expected in 2023, how would the traitor who wrote you off have left?
Finally, thank God in advance. Believe Him that this new year is your chance. 2024 is your year: go and make all of us who know you proud!
