According to the college, key components of the project, including Starlink internet services and a mini-solar grid, have helped address longstanding power and connectivity challenges that had negatively affected teaching, learning and administrative activities.
The college noted that it now enjoys stable electricity and internet access, which have improved its ability to support academic and administrative engagements.
It added that the intervention has contributed to a more vibrant campus environment by providing modern learning tools and creating conditions that support academic success.
The management further stated that the skills development programme has repositioned the institution to meet 21st-century educational demands by equipping lecturers with the capacity to deliver practical, industry-relevant training while ensuring that graduates possess employable skills.
TETFund’s skills development intervention is part of the Fund’s mandate to rehabilitate, restore and consolidate tertiary education in Nigeria through strategic funding of critical projects in beneficiary institutions.
