No fewer than 10 persons might have been killed in a fresh attack by suspected terrorists in the early hours of Sunday in Southern Kaduna community.
A community, Atak Mawai in Zaman Dabo village, Atyap Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna state was attacked the gunmen.
In a telephone chat with Journalists over the attack, the Executive Chairman, Zangon Kataf Local Government Council, Hon. Francis Angwa Sani confirmed the incident, but could not give actual number of persons killed.
“I am yet to get the actual number of people killed, once I confirm the number of people killed I will get to you. But it is true that there was an attack”. Sani said.
However, the Council Boss did not get back to Journalists as at press time.
The attackers were also said to have burnt down about 10 houses in the early morning raid.
Daily Sun gathered that most of those killed were burnt in their houses as the people were fast asleep as at the time the gunmen invaded the community.
