TechFeast to equip youths with future tech skills

As artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies continue to reshape businesses, careers and everyday life, TechFeast 2026 is set to bring professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, creators, students and graduates together for an experience focused on future skills, innovation and human connection.

Scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2026 in Lagos, the event will be held under the theme “The Human Spark of Innovation.”

Founded by Christyn Obiajulu, a technology entrepreneur and innovation advocate, TechFeast is positioned as Nigeria’s premier future skills and innovation experience. It is designed to help participants explore emerging opportunities, engage with new ideas, connect with people across industries and experience innovation beyond the technology itself.

Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Obiajulu said: “The future is not shaped by technology alone. It is shaped by people who are willing to learn, question old ways of thinking, embrace new possibilities and collaborate to create something meaningful. TechFeast is about bringing those people together, to learn, connect and experience what becomes possible when ideas and people meet.”

The event comes at a time when adaptability, creativity, collaboration and the effective use of technology are becoming increasingly important across industries. While digital tools continue to transform how people work and do business, human judgement, imagination and meaningful relationships remain essential to turning innovation into impact.

Activities will begin with Future Skills Week, scheduled for November 23 to 27, 2026. The virtual programme will feature masterclasses designed to expose participants to emerging ideas, practical knowledge and skills relevant to the changing world of work.

The week will lead into the main TechFeast experience on November 28, featuring opportunities for learning, networking, innovation showcases, engaging conversations and entertainment.

The event is designed to create opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, discover new perspectives and build relationships that can extend beyond the gathering itself.

For professionals, this means understanding changes affecting their industries and preparing for new opportunities. For entrepreneurs and business leaders, it means exploring ideas, relationships and technologies that can support growth. For students, graduates and creators, it means engaging with people and conversations that can help shape their next steps.

The TechFeast experience follows a simple model: Learn. Connect. Experience. Continue the Community. Through this approach, the initiative aims to encourage ongoing learning and engagement beyond a single event.

TechFeast also extends its community engagement through TechFeast 1000, a movement-oriented initiative built around the message “Every KM Counts.” The campaign encourages participants to walk or run, record their kilometres and contribute toward a collective 1,000-kilometre goal ahead of the main event.
