Surely, Governor Fayose has no borders! Fayose has won my heart. I pray that he will continue to stand for Ekiti people and the Yoruba race. By so doing he offers Ndigbo some measure of protection indirectly. He is a man with clear standing.

I must commend you over that piece on Fayose. It is beautiful. I am seeing the governor more from a very new perspective, especially since that new law on cattle grazing.
Even if he is seeking (Bola) Tinubu’s “anointing” as a returning “prodigal son”, Yoruba really need to wake up and buckle up as asserted by Pa Hubert Ogunde of blessed memory.

He stands for justice
Nigeria is in coma because of the wickedness of inferiors on seat of power. Opposition goes with democracy, they cannot kill it.
Respect to the man without limitations, Governor Ayodele Fayose. He is the first victim of this government among those who stand for truth and justice. We are not happy with the way things are going. Under a year, everything is messed up big time.
We, the youth, are proud of Fayose because he stands for justice and the masses. What a nation! Preaching did not start today.
The northernisation agenda is real. It has been long since this nation was this regionally, ethnically and religiously divided by the North. Politicians have played a big part in making sure we are divided to achieve their selfish goals.
Nigeria’s break-up is not too far from being accurate of what the USA predicted. The Niger Delta has been exploited for too long.
For just one year, Nigerians have seen the difference. Look at how appointments are made, eight out of 10 are North. President Buhari should better look back and re-consider some of his actions. We are not fools as they thought we are.

Senseless, heartless taxes
This government is the most heartless of all times. Recently, I observed two value added tax (VAT) for same period, which goes into government coffers, were charged into my account.
I went to the bank, thinking it was an error. I was stunned when the bank officer told me that VAT is charged on every credit transfer into a customer’s account; including pension which comes in two tranches monthly.
And what are Nigerians getting in exchange for these other than Lai Mohammed (Minister of Information and Culture), going on air to justify the All Progressives Congress (APC), government’s senseless taxes suffocating people.
Prices of consumables have gone up by over 75 percent, yet government charges VAT on services that enhance communication between Nigerians. Listen to poor talking about this government and what you hear are curses for their inept governance.
Yet, President Muhammadu Buhari keeps apologising to Nigerians for inflicting sufferings on them daily. What does one make of a government that flies a kite of its intended programme first, for Nigerians’ reactions, to decide on what to do with it?
That played out in government’s intended prodigal sale of national assets, which the Senate rejected instantly. So far, all we are fed with, on resolution of recession, are series of forums by enterprises; dishing out variants in financial theories; on ways out.
