Supreme Court’s Justice Ngwuta arraigned for money l

Justice Sylvester Ngwuta of the Supreme Court was on Monday arraigned on charges of money laundering and others bordering on breaches relating to obtaining of passports.

Ngwuta pleaded not guilty to the charges read to him. Recall that his house and some other judges were raided by operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS.

In the 16 counts read to Ngwuta, it was alleged that he transferred the total sum of N505m between January and May 2016 to a building contractor, Nwamba Linus Chukwuebuka.
