Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face Jordan in an international friendly match in Amman during the March 23–31 FIFA window.

As part of Jordan’s preparation for their first World Cup appearance, the game will be the two countries’ first-ever senior encounter.

Jordan, also known as “The Chivalrous Ones,” has been placed in a difficult group with Austria, Argentina, and Algeria, the reigning winners.

According to reports, Iran is also considering a matchup with Portugal in June, as well as a March matchup with the three-time African champions.

However, FIFA’s upcoming decision about Nigeria’s eligibility challenge against the Democratic Republic of Congo will determine whether or not the country may play in the event.
