Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped four places in the latest FIFA men’s world rankings released on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles, who were previously ranked 26th in the world, are now in 30th position.
The drop also saw Nigeria fall from fourth to sixth place in the African rankings.
Nigeria are now ranked behind Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, Algeria and Côte d’Ivoire on the continent.
The latest ranking comes after Nigeria’s recent international fixtures under head coach Éric Chelle.
Nigeria recently featured in three games, recording one win, one draw and one defeat.
The West Africans defeated Madagascar 2-1 at home, and lost 3-0 to Guinea-Bissau.
They held Russia to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling international friendly on Tuesday.
