Stop working against Nnamdi Kanu’s release — IPOB to politicians

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has issued a warning to politicians in the country to desist from working against the release of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement made available to Daily Sun by Emma Powerful, the media and publicity secretary for IPOB on Wednesday, the group stated that its attention has been drawn to some politicians who are out to “frustrate” the effort to release Kanu.

IPOB threatened to make public the names of those involved if they continued their actions.

Part of the statement reads, “We wish to inform those working against the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to beware because we know of their secret meetings and discussions against MNK. If they continue with their sabotage, their names will be made public soon.

“Also, some of the political jobbers in the Southeast region working against the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should know that we are following the activities closely.

“The individuals hold secret meetings with South East Governors to frustrate the clarion call of the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who incidentally is the only political prisoner in Nigeria currently.

“We warn those sabotaging the unconditional release of our leader to stop provoking IPOB.”
