Football Administrator, Barrister Chris Green has been chosen as the new man to drive the proposed reforms at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).The State FAs, which constitute the bulk of the NFF Congress have rejected all the names hitherto being thrown up by the media and decided to settle for the former board member and former Secretary of the defunct Sharks of Port Harcourt.

Members of the proposed Caretaker Committee comprises Christopher Green, as chairman; Hon. Abubakar Ladan; Mr. L. A. Haruna, SAN; Engineer Waheed Akanni; Rukayat Segilola Alaya; Coach Oko Victor Ndubuisi; and Professor Tor Iorapuu.
In a related development, the Congress has told the National Sports Commission that Acting NFF General Secretary, Barrister Emmanuel Ikpeme would not function in that capacity once everything is settled rather he should revert to his former position as Deputy General Secretary.
The FAs grouse was Ikpeme’s expressed dissolution of the Congress when he lacked such power to do so.
