StarTimes Group Chairman addresses China-Africa relations at Harvard conference

Pang Xinxing, Chairman of StarTimes Group, participated as a featured speaker in the 5th Harvard Kennedy School China Conference on April 21st. The conference, with the theme: “Sincerity and Cooperation,” aimed to bridge communication between China and the international community. Discussions focused on China’s role in global economics, politics, and cultural development.

Key speakers included Xie Feng (Chinese Ambassador to the US), Graham Allison (Harvard Kennedy School Founding Dean), Xue Lan (Dean, Tsinghua University), along with other notable political, business, and academic leaders. The event drew over 600 attendees, including Harvard affiliates and Chinese students studying in the US.

Xinxing delivered an online address during the “China and Africa: Future Prospects” sub-forum. He shared insights on StarTimes Group’s growth as a leading digital TV provider in Africa. Pang emphasized his company’s role in enhancing communication and cultural exchange across the continent.
