In line with its vision to finding new ways and means to make young dreams come through, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, said it is set to splash N32million on 12 creative Nigerian youngsters who would emerge winners at its Fuze Talent Show 2.0.

Addressing newsmen in Lagos recently, the Chief Executive of the Pension Managers, Mr. Olumide Oyetan, affirmed that the FUZE initiative underscores the company’s dedication to nurturing creativity and innovation among young Nigerians (between ages 18 & 35) in Music, Dance, Fashion, and Technology.

Different from its debut edition, the Pension Managers infused a two-week boot camp into the show to allow 28 finalists hone their skills and compete for a slice of this year’s N32 million prize money. Oyetan confirmed that winners for each category would smile home with N5million, while first runner-up and second runner-up would be rewarded with N2million and N1million respectively, adding that winners would equally receive industry recognition and access to mentorship opportunities to support their creative careers and enterprise.

“With the help of our expert judges – Banke Kuku for Fashion, Ric Hassani for Music, Bunmi Olunloyo for Dance, and our very own Dr Stanley Jacob judging the tech category, we will be rewarding 12 brand new finalists at the Grand Finale on 23 December 2023 at the Livespot Entertarium, in Lagos.

“FUZE Talent Show will come to your TV Screens on 11 November 2023 and will run for six exciting weeks. Viewers will be allowed to vote their preferred finalists in each category and winners will be unveiled on aforementioned date. Nigerians can register on Stanbic IBTC Events App, available on Android and iOS platforms” he urged.

On her part, the Head, Brand & Marketing for Stanbic IBTC Holdings, Bridget Oyefeso-Odusami, who expressed optimism over the company’s corporate Social Responsibility maintained that; resilience, focus, perseverance, determination and commitment are indispensable virtues young people should uphold in every good thing they do.

Oyefeso-Odusami added that it was ideal if government & resource controllers, corporate organizations and other well- to- do Nigerians conscientiously go after young people across the country and bankroll their latent potential begging for support. “We need to go beyond classroom theoretical studies and pursue their distinctive crafts and talents.

“Nigerians got talents, but the entire environment must support them to do exploits here in Nigeria. So if we catch them young and they do well, automatically the country would do well”

She added that the older generation need to discover and empower young talents whose ingenuity deserved to be in the limelight, saying “It a proof of being responsible”

“Asides from being a merry and exhilarating venture, the FUZE Festival will be impactful. It is aimed at making Nigerians, end the year 2023 on a high note despite all odds. It will be an entire day of fun and excitements” she assured.
