Livinus Okwara better known as the Nna Ndigbo Lagos, has disclosed plans to establish a male and female football clubs in all the local government areas in Lagos.
According to Okwara, who is also the Chairman Managing Director of Rimas Group of Companies, the male team will be known as Chinemere Football Club while the female team will be called Ugonwanne Football Club.
Each of the clubs will have senior and U17 teams. Okwara also said later in the year, he plans to also host a beauty pageant in all the local government areas.
He said the objectives of these initiatives is to get the youths involved, encourage social cultural mix between the host state and the Igbos in Lagos.
The football clubs will accept membership of Igbo,Yoruba, Hausa and other tribes in Lagos.
