Leadership of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders’ Forum (SMLF) has condoled with Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the government and people of Plateau State over the tragic Christmas Eve attacks, which claimed more than 200 lives and displaced thousands of people.

A delegation led Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, during a visit to the governor at the New Government House, Little Rayfield, emphasised the urgent need for state police to address the prolonged security challenges facing the nation.

He condemned the deliberate actions of terrorist elements invading villages, causing loss of life, and displacing people from their ancestral homes to forcefully seize land.
