To ease the cost of living, he proposed that local councils should provide safe and convenient shuttle buses for commuters.
He explained that his decision to give out the vehicles stemmed from the harrowing transportation experiences endured by the beneficiaries. He recounted how one beneficiary, a woman and her child, narrowly escaped harm after falling off a commercial motorcycle while travelling to worship. He also noted that passengers are often subjected to attacks due to the insecure nature of the transport system.
He charged local councils nationwide to provide safe shuttle buses, emphasising that it would not only ease transportation but also enhance security.
The car beneficiaries include Taiye Godstime Atolagbe, Funke Samuel, Elizabeth Ola, Felix Gabriel, Vivian Metu, Bulus Alika, and Abdulrahman Abdulganiyu.
