The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the 2021 governorship election in Anambra State, Dr Andy Uba has commiserated Senator Ifeanyi Ubah over the attack on his convoy on Sunday in Enugwu Ukwu where some lives were lost.
In a statement made available to journalists, Dr Andy Uba said the news came to him as a shock, adding that the attack was highly condemnable.
“I commiserate with my brother and friend, Distinguished Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah and the families of his aides that lost their lives, yesterday, in Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka Local government Area of Anambra State.
“The news came to me as a shock and I sincerely condenm the horrific attack.
“These attacks are uncalled for and it’s alien to Igbo culture to maim and kill humans.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you and the families of the victims, ” he said.
He urged the Government to do the needful in bringing total peace and sanity to the State.
He prayed that the souls of the departed would rest in peace and for God to heal all those injured.
