The Newly deployed permanent secretary to the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, Aliyu Shehu Shinkafi has warned staff against indolence and unwholesome activities.
Shinkafi gave this warning on Wednesday, when he officially took over from . Didi-wilson Jackson.
The new permanent secretary who was welcomed by directors in the Ministry of Water Resources,said, if you work hard you will be my friend, if you don’t you can’t be my friend as that is the only way to the ministry to greater heights.
Shinkafi while warning staff against indolence also urged for collaboration among staff to achieve the set goals of the ministry.
In her welcome address the outgoing permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources, Mrs. Jack described her new posting to the education ministry as a bitter-sweet moment.
She thanked the staff for their cooperation during her stay in the ministry and urged the staff to extend the same to the new permanent secretary.
Shinkafi who hails from Zamfara state was among the three men and a woman who were sworn-in as permanent secretary by former president Mohammedu Buhari in September 2020.
