WILAN Global,a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership worldwide, has lauded the election of Claudia Sheinbaum as first female President of Mexico saying her victory is a beacon of hope for women across the globe.

Its founder, Abosede George-Ogan, in a statement said the triumph of Sheinbaum should inspire a collective effort to ensure that women everywhere have the opportunity to lead and make impactful contributions to society.
