Shehu Sani hails Kaduna governor over 500,000 homes for underprivileged

Former Kaduna Central senator Shehu Sani has commended Governor Uba Sani for facilitating the construction of 500,000 housing units for less privileged people of Kaduna being undertaken by the government of Qatar.

Sani gave the commendation in an X post on Monday.

Daily Sun reports that Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali Bin Ghanem Al-Hajri officially inaugurated the Mega Economic City project in Kaduna on August 16, 2023.

Al-Hajri, who said the project would improve the living conditions for underprivileged families in Kaduna, thanked the governor for his support for its successful launch.

Reacting, Sani described the project as commendable.

He said, “It has never happened in the history of our country where one country will freely construct half a million housing units for the masses.

“Qatar’s Kaduna 500k homes for the less privileged is commendable. Kudos to the Kaduna governor for pulling this unprecedented housing infrastructure.

“This is the kind of beneficial relationship we want with other countries.”
