The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume, welcomed the Speakers of State Houses of Assembly from the North Central Zone in Abuja Tuesday, Congratulating them on their recent election victories and inaugurals.

SGF Akume emphasized the importance of effective collaboration between the Speakers and Governors for peace, unity, and accelerated development in their respective states.

Sen. Akume highlighted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the nation’s economy, security, and overall societal well-being. He expressed his desire to witness the President’s vision materialize throughout all states in the federation, urging the Speakers to align their efforts with the national agenda.

Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, accompanied by Hon. Muhammed Adamu Omadefu (APC KEANA), the Majority Leader, and Hon. Musa Ibrahim Abubakar (NNPP Doma South), the Minority Leader, joined the SGF to represent the North Central Zone.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi commended the SGF on his appointment and extended their well wishes. He reiterated the resolve of the North Central State Houses of Assembly to partner with their Governors and the judiciary to foster peace, unity, and rapid development within their respective states.
