In a show of admiration and respect for Senator Teslim Folarin, the Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 general elections, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has lauded his selflessness and transparency in leadership.
Alli, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), commended Folarin’s dedication to public service and his immense contributions to the political growth of Oyo State.
Folarin, a former Senate Leader and a three-term lawmaker from Oyo Central Senatorial District, holds the title of Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Alli described him as a true statesman and a champion of the masses, emphasising his integrity and rarity in the world of politics.

Though Folarin faced defeat in the 2023 Oyo State governorship race on the platform of APC, his passion for serving the people remains unwavering.
Alli applauded Folarin for his leadership style, characterised by selflessness, dedication, and transparency, saying:. “These qualities have not only earned him the respect and admiration of his peers, but also endeared him to the people of Oyo State.
As Folarin celebrates his 60th birthday, Alli extended his wishes for many more years of sound health, peace, and prosperity. He also expressed his hope that Folarin’s contributions would continue to positively impact the lives of Nigerians, particularly the people of Oyo State.
