Recently married artiste Olorunsogo Michael Oni, aka Musicbysire, has a word of advice for some of his fans who are looking forward to joining the Married Club soon.

He said:  “Be determined to make it work; no experience can teach you how to treat your wife or husband; no culture can, no books can; never involve a third party; seek the face of God in all, not the pastor.”

The artiste-cum-song writer who got married to actress Aisat Iyabode Asamu, better known as Aishy, claimed their relationship did not start as love at first sight.

“The babe no even send me for a long time,” he stated, “but because I am very good with words, I was able to break down those walls of resistance.”

Speaking further, Musicbysire explained why he has no regret or doubt about taking Aishy to the altar. “she has a mother factor that makes me feel safe in her hands.”

He added: “A lot has happened in such a little time, but God has seen us through it all. Where we started from isn’t where we are today. And I can tell you all that love is a beautiful thing, and whatever you build on sincere and genuine love stands the test of time.”

According to him, he feels fulfilled with his marriage.

“It is recorded in the Scriptures that “He that finds a wife has found a good thing.” I feel fulfilled in everything,” he stated.

Moreso, his parents’ reaction gave him the confidence that he has chosen well. “My parents were super excited they wanted a wedding ceremony immediately,” he recalled.

As far as he is concerned, marriage has had a positive effect on him. “I’m more committed and dedicated than I’ve ever been,” he mused.

He further revealed that he and Aishy are not leaving things to chance, but plan their marriage and leave it in the hands of God. “For example, on the number of kids we want to have, we’ve made that decision from day one,” he disclosed.
