Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is lucky to be alive following repeated stabbings after his home was invaded recently.
Sharing an update on his health after the incident, doctors at Lilavati Hospital revealed that the actor walked into the facility like a lion after the stabbing.
According to them, Khan is recovering “very well” and may be discharged in two to three days.
Speaking on his entry into the hospital, the doctors shared that despite being critically injured, the star displayed incredible resilience by refusing a stretcher.
“He was soaked in blood when he arrived at the hospital. But he walked in like a lion. He is a real hero…
“He is very fortunate. If the knife were 2mm deeper, he would have sustained a serious injury,” Dr Uttamani said to NDTV.
Khan reportedly underwent a five-hour emergency surgery after which he was moved from the ICU to a regular ward. His recovery is said to be going well.
