It was a night of laughter without borders as Nigerian comedian and actress, Real Warri Pikin, lit up the Grand Occasions Laurel in Maryland, USA, with her comedy special, “Unapologetically Me.” The August 30, 2025 show sold out completely, reaffirming her status as one of Africa’s fastest-rising global comedy exports.

Fans from across the United States trooped in—Nigerians, Ghanaians, Caribbeans, and even Americans eager to experience her unique blend of Warri humor and candid storytelling. The result was an electric atmosphere where the comedian’s jokes landed as smoothly as her heartfelt reflections on family, culture, and life.

This Maryland stop is not her first international feat. The “Unapologetically Me” tour has already made waves in London, Accra, Warri, and Abuja, where in July 2024 she packed the 3,000-capacity This Day Dome. That edition was a festival of comedy and music, with guest sets from Peruzzi, Reekado Banks, and a lineup of popular Nigerian comedians.

The Maryland show was powered by leading diaspora brands such as Finserve, Jollof Etcetera, AfroJamz Network, Buchymix, 1Luv Foods, and Axiom Consults, whose support highlights the strength of African businesses abroad in pushing cultural events to global platforms.

Behind the tour is RWP Entertainment, the outfit managing her brand and vision. With Canada and more U.S. cities now in sight, Real Warri Pikin is not only exporting Nigerian comedy but also building bridges with audiences eager for African voices.

From a rising comic in Warri to a global act selling out venues abroad, her journey embodies the growing wave of Nigerian entertainers reshaping the world stage—one joke, one story, and one packed hall at a time.
