Sporting CP coach, Rui Borges, has said Cristiano Ronaldo will decide how he wants to bring his career to an end.
Borges made the statement during a press conference ahead of Sporting CP’s Portuguese league clash with Braga on Friday.
The coach also said many people do not fully understand Ronaldo’s significance to the world of football.
When asked about Ronaldo’s departure from the national team, Borges said of the Al-Nassr forward, “I will not comment on national team matters.
“As for Cristiano Ronaldo’s greatness, it’s not just at Sporting CP, but across the world. We can’t fully comprehend what Ronaldo means to the world.
“Cristiano will say farewell in the way he wants and understands. Beyond that, I just want to say that my admiration for him is immense.”
