The National Executive Council (NEC) of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), has disclosed plans to resume operation in Lagos State, sequel to a judgement delivered by the National Industrial Court.
ON September 28, 2022, the Lagos State government suspended RTEAN and its operation in Lagos State, but the action was nullified by the court on April 18, 2023.
RTEAN Secretary General, Yusuf Ibrahim Adeniyi, in statement yesterday, said the National President, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maitakobi, at a NEC meeting in May 2023, appointed the Deputy Chairman, Administration, Aransiolpa Kudus, as acting Chairman of the Lagos chapter, which is in line with Article 7: 2ii(a) of RTEAN constitution.
