Rousing reception for ex-PAP boss, Kuku in Arogbo

The First Baptist Church in Arogbo, Ondo State, resonated with jubilation and gratitude, recently, as guests, including former government officials, gathered for the Thanksgiving Service of Mr. Kingsley Kuku, former special adviser to erstwhile president, Goodluck Jonathan and chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

Marking his return to Nigeria after an academic pursuit abroad spanning eight years,  Kuku expressed thanks to God for the safe reunion with his family, including his mother, and for the fulfillment of promises in his life.

He emphasised the significance of thanksgiving, heralding it as an avenue to acknowledge God’s goodness and grace amid life’s challenges. Acknowledging the pivotal role of President Bola Tinubu in regional development, Kuku urged South-South constituents to actively contribute to the peace and progress facilitated by President Tinubu’s strategic engagements.

Dignitaries present included former Ondo State deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi and Eric Yanyangbini, lauded Kuku’s leadership and philanthropy, hailing him as a beacon of strength and inspiration within the Arogbo kingdom and beyond.

Also present were Snr High Chief Bibopere Ajube,the Ibe Beleu-koriwei of Arogbo Ibe Kingdom, former member house of representative, Kolade Akinjo; High Chief Bibopere Ajube , CEO Bradama and Gallaty Security Outfit; His imperial Majesty Doubra Zaccheus Egbunu, Agadagba of Arogbo Ibe Kingdom; High Chief Karina Tuyan (SAN).

In his closing remarks, Kuku reiterated his commitment to being a guiding light, urging individuals to embrace gratitude and courage regardless of life’s trials, while advocating for active participation in the advancement of the Niger Delta region.
