Rotary Club of Lekki had classified the month of August the month of membership and new club development, and this August was not different as the club held a membership breakfast at Lekki conservation center on the 31st of July.
The essence of the membership breakfast is to create an avenue where guests can learn more about Rotary and join the club. The event featured distinguished Rotary members talk about what rotary means to them.
In attendance were 30 guests and 20 Rotarians.
The Club President , Rotarian Christyn Obiajulu who is classified as Change maker, spoke during the event saying: “We had a great turn out today and wonderful speakers who spoke on the mission of Rotary International which is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
The objectives we set out to achieve were well achieved, as it stands now we have created more awareness for our club and looking at inducting 9 new Rotarians this month”
