The Rotary Club of Victoria Island East, Lagos, will install its 39th president, Mokesioluwa Seun-Adedamola, on Sunday, July 20.
The Club will also use the opportunity of the event which will be held at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, to raise fund for its activities.
This year’s theme by the Rotary International, “Unite for Good,” is seen as a guiding compass that will enable the incoming President execute her vision of giving back to humanity, especially in the areas of maternal and child health, disease prevention and hygiene promotion.
These critical areas also form part of Rotary’s global areas of focus. The Club is committed to impactful, sustainable service projects throughout the Rotary year.
To make this vision a reality, the Club is targeting a N120 million fundraising goal, to be able to fund projects that will transform the community. Already, some individuals and corporate organisations are making donations ahead of the event.
The Rotary Club of Victoria Island East is part of a global network of professionals and change-makers committed to service above self.
