Embattled Minority Leader in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Benibo Anabraba, has raised the alarm over his safety.

According to Anabraba, he has been receiving threat messages on his phone since he assumed office as Minority Leader of the House.

Anabraba alleged that some security men stormed his office recently apparently to whisk him away.

According to him,  “Plain clothes security agents invaded my office in the Assembly Complex seeking my arrest as I have just been informed by my aides and colleagues in the Assembly.”

He added that the security men who went for his arrest missed him because he was away in Abuja.

Recall that Anabraba was suspended recently by his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state for alleged anti- party activities.

But reacting to the suspension, Anabraba said he still remains a member of the party and retains his office as Minority Leader of the party in the House of Assembly.
