The House of Representatives has raised the 2023 budget to N21,827,188,747,391 from the N20.51 trillion proposal presented to the joint session of the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari on October 7.
This is an increase of N1,319,246,566,677 from the proposal presented to the parliament by the President.
Similarly, the House passed the N819, 536,937,813 2022 supplementary budget submitted to the parliament by the President recently. And extended the implementation of the 2022 Appropriation Act to March 31, 2023.
