The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe, has launched the Renewed Hope Creative and Innovative Hub, a youth-focused initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with creative, digital and entrepreneurial skills in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Aregbe said the initiative would provide young people with access to practical skills training, mentorship, entrepreneurship support and digital innovation, positioning them to become self-reliant and contribute to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
Speaking on the initiative, he described the hub as a strategic platform created to nurture a new generation of innovators, creators, entrepreneurs and leaders by transforming talent into sustainable economic opportunities.
According to him, the project aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda while complementing the Lagos State Government’s THEMES+ development agenda through youth empowerment, enterprise development and innovation.
“The Renewed Hope Creative and Innovative Hub is built for the young and the vibrant, the dreamers and the doers. It is a platform where talent will be nurtured through skills development, mentorship, entrepreneurship and digital innovation,” Aregbe said.
He explained that the hub would focus on developing future-ready talent through hands-on training, industry collaboration, leadership engagement and pathways to employment and business creation.

Aregbe noted that the initiative was conceived on the belief that, while talent is abundant among Nigerian youths, deliberate efforts must be made to create opportunities that enable them to maximise their potential.
He commended President Tinubu for prioritising youth inclusion, economic empowerment and national development through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC chieftain also praised Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for sustaining policies that continue to expand opportunities for young people, while acknowledging Deputy Governor Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat for his commitment to innovation, good governance and human capital development.
Describing the project as more than a physical facility, Aregbe said the hub would serve as a centre for innovation, collaboration and enterprise, where young people would acquire the skills needed to compete in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
“This is more than a hub; it is a commitment to empower the next generation of APC leaders, innovators and nation-builders. Together, we will build not just careers, but a greater Lagos and a greater Nigeria,” he said.
He urged youths across Lagos to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the hub, expressing confidence that the initiative would unlock talent, inspire innovation and create sustainable economic opportunities for the next generation.
