Chairmen of Local Governments reinstated by the court of appeal have resumed to their various offices across the council secretariat in Osun State.

They stormed the local governments amidst heavy security who had stationed their vehicles at various councils since last week.

Some of the chairmen who directed local government workers to resume and continue with their works.

The chairman of Boluwaduro Local Government, Alh. Bayo Oyekanmi, who resumed to the office on Monday, told the staff of the council to return to work.

Also, the chairman of Ife Central Local Government, Hon Olayera Elugbaju, assured the staff of adequate security and encouraged them to resume.

“As we all know, there’s no cause for any alarm whatsoever as security personnel are fully on ground to stabilize day-to-day activities,” Elugbaju said.

It was gathered that the chairmen of Ifelodun, Ejigbo, Olorunda and some others also resumed.

It was observed that no fewer than six policemen were stationed in each of major points and local governments in the state.
