The Chief Executive Officer, Rinotech Facilities Nigeria Limited, Dr Prince Innocent Anaele, has said that for Nigeria to address the killings in the country by Boko Haram terrorists and bandits, a regional security should be adopted by Nigeria security agencies.
He advised the military to stop drafting soldiers and security personnel from other regions to the troubled zone to avoid mass killings.
He called for the withdrawal of personnel from other regions already posted and the posting of only people from the same regions, including the commanders, emphasising that by so doing, the killings would drastically be reduced.
Hee called on the Federal Government and the National Assembly to re-jig the Act establishing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to allow students make choice of service, which includes enlisting into the Army, Navy, Airforce, police, immigration, customs, suggesting that after such special service, 35 percent of such persons should be retained and drafted into the security services and para military.

He wondered why with the level of information concerning sponsors of terrorism and bandits, such individuals, including bureau de change, have not been arrested.
“If government is sincere with the fight against terrorism, sponsors should be published and possibly eliminated,” he stated.
However, he advised the NYSC to stop deploying or posting students for service to areas they know nothing about and areas they don’t understand their language, especially the troubled zone.
He advised the government to consider regional development to address the numerous challenges facing the country.
