A Christmas Day shooting in Brazil has shaken the family of Real Madrid’s rising star, Endrick.
Mauricio Nunes Goncalves, the 38-year-old partner of Endrick’s older sister Lavinia Sudre, was tragically killed in a targeted attack at a street bar in Samambaia, near the capital, Brasilia.
Mauricio, known in Brazil as the footballer’s “brother-in-law,” was shot numerous times, including fatally in the head, while attempting to flee the ambush.
The devastating news prompted Lavinia to change her Instagram profile picture to a black ribbon, a poignant symbol of mourning.
She also shared a heartfelt tribute, posting a photo of Mauricio with the caption: “You left beautiful memories in our hearts that we will never forget.”
