RCCG youths pay newborns’ bills to Mark Adeboye’s Birthday

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Youth Province One (YP1) has commemorated the birthday of its General Overseer, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, with a humanitarian outreach at the Mother and Child Centre of Amuwo-Odofin General Hospital.

As part of the initiative, the youth province offset the medical bills of eight newborn babies delivered within the week, providing relief to their families. The group also donated essential medical supplies to support maternal and child healthcare services at the facility for an estimated one month.

The outreach was led by the Pastor in Charge of the Province, Leke Adeboye, alongside Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province (CSR), Martins Olusakin, and Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province (Admin), Abiodun Famojuro.

The initiative was further strengthened through collaboration with Shola Olowolafe and Adeola Olowolafe of RCCG Graceville, with plans to extend similar interventions to more than seven Mother and Child Centres across the Lagos metropolis.

Speaking during the outreach, Leke Adeboye said the gesture reflects the teachings and lifestyle of the General Overseer, which emphasise compassion, generosity and service to humanity. He noted that the initiative was designed to bring hope and practical support to families at critical moments.

The outreach underscores RCCG Youth Province One’s commitment to community development and humanitarian service. It also highlights the growing role of faith-based organisations in delivering social impact, particularly in healthcare support, as the province continues to translate spiritual leadership into tangible benefits for underserved communities.
