The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), under the leadership of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, will host a Special Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the 65th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.
The service, themed “*THE* KING OF KINGS”, is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025, at *7:30 a.m*., at The Throne of Grace, RCCG National Headquarters, 1–9 Redemption Way, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.
This was made known in a statement signed by the assistant pastor in charge of province 1, RCCG, Pastor Olusegun Macaulay on Monday.
“Guided by divine direction, Pastor Adeboye will lead special prayers for government executives, legislators, politicians, electoral institutions, peacekeeping groups, political leaders, elder statesmen, students of political science, citizens’ right organizations, and for the people of Nigeria at large.
“The RCCG invites all stakeholders and the general public to join this solemn national intercession, as the church prays for peace, unity, and divine progress for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
