One of the groups that played a prominent roles in President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election, Re-elect Buhari Movement (RBM), has congratulated the president on his victory.
The group, in a statement by its Convener, Emmanuel Umohinyang, attributed the victory to Buhari’s sterling qualities. This, the RBM noted was the yardstick that gave Buhari an edge over his rivals in the polls.
Specifically, the group stressed that truth, honesty and integrity for which the president had remained consistent stood him out. Umohinyang observed that when the president’s ambition faced serious threat, the virtues made him to withstand the whirlwind.
“Truth, honesty and integrity are three strong pillars that can always withstand political whirlwind. Again and again, president Buhari has clearly exhibited these virtues in his service to the people and this has earned him the trust and votes of the people. For a man of integrity, gang up is mere political featherweight, the people’s vote of confidence is the real super heavyweight. The people have spoken,” he said.
The RBM enjoined Nigerians to continue to support the president, to enable him consolidate on his achievements in his second term.
