The Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM) has congratulated Mr. Abiola Olawale Peters on his appointment as the General Manager of Radio Nigeria 103.5 FM Lagos.
The organization described the appointment as a testament to Peters’ competence, professionalism, and leadership in journalism.
In a congratulatory message, JIFORM President Dr. Ajibola Abayomi stated that the appointment was well deserved, reflecting Peters’ exceptional track record as a resilient, resourceful, and highly committed media professional.
Dr. Abayomi noted that Peters’ elevation was not a surprise, but rather a fitting recognition of years of dedicated service in the media.
The statement highlighted Peters’ impressive career, including his previous roles as Assistant Director, News and Current Affairs at Radio Nigeria and Head of News at Bond FM.
Dr. Abayomi also commended Peters’ contributions to JIFORM, where he served as Organising Secretary and played a central role in shaping the forum’s global engagements.
Abayomi praised Peters’ academic and professional background, noting that he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, and is an alumnus of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
JIFORM expressed confidence that under his leadership, Radio Nigeria 103.5 FM Lagos will experience remarkable progress and innovation.
