In a space where beauty pageants are often about glitz and glamour, Queen Kas born Kamsiyo Nnyamah is charting a new path. As Vice President of Miss Ideal Nigeria, she’s transforming the pageant into a creative hub where beauty meets culture, artistry, and meaningful impact.

Since stepping into the role in 2023, Queen Kas has overseen a bold rebranding of the Miss Ideal Nigeria platform. Event attendance has surged from 450 to over 1,100 guests at the 2025 edition, while sponsorship revenue has jumped from ₦4 million to ₦18 million. Major brands like MTN Nigeria, Golden Penny Foods, and Teekay House of Fashion now back the initiative.

“It’s not just about crowns,” she says. “It’s about giving creatives a platform to express purpose and find global recognition.”

A major milestone came when she secured the Top Model of the World franchise for Nigeria, opening doors for Miss Ideal Nigeria winners to walk global runways like Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Seychelles Fashion Week, and more. It’s a move that has brought Nigerian fashion to the international stage.

In 2024, she launched “Know Your Art,” an annual initiative that connects young creatives with top industry mentors in fashion, visual arts, film, and performance. The 2025 edition, held in partnership with Global Harvesters Foundation, saw 137 participants from eight states, and led to mentorships, internships, and a showcase attended by over 600 people with thousands more watching online. The program earned a nomination for “Art Event of the Year” at the Eko Awards.

For creatives like Lagos-based artist Stephenie Nwachukwu, the impact was life-changing. “Before the program, I had talent but no direction,” she shares. “Now, I’ve sold artworks, interned at a gallery, and I finally see myself as a creative entrepreneur.”

Outside of pageantry, Queen Kas has supported rising stars like Big Brother Naija’s Yemi Cregx and Emmanuel Umoh, guiding them through brand partnerships and career visibility a testament to her wide-reaching influence in fashion, media, and entertainment.

With her strong background in cultural programming and talent development, Queen Kas is turning Miss Ideal Nigeria into more than a pageant it’s now a launching pad for the next generation of African creatives. And with over 58,000 monthly social media impressions and growing global media attention, the impact is undeniable.

“We’re not just chasing titles,” she says. “We’re shaping narratives, and sending them out into the world.”

In redefining beauty as a gateway to expression, innovation, and purpose, Queen Kas is not only changing the face of Nigerian pageantry she’s influencing the future of its entire creative industry.
