Lagos business leaders recently gathered for an evening marked by elegance, fellowship and quiet triumph at the inaugural Q5 Party.
Conceived and delivered by Events Architects Ltd under the leadership of its Chief Visionary Officer, Funmi Victor-Okigbo, the gathering drew more than 350 chief executives, senior executives, founders and their teams in Lagos, transforming the venue into a meeting ground of ambition and reflection.
The Q5 Party was envisioned as a premium way for organisations to close the fourth quarter and step into what the organisers described as ‘Q5,’ a deliberate pause devoted to rest, reflection and renewed energy ahead of the coming year.
One of the evening’s most resonant moments came when all the CEOs in attendance rose for a collective toast, a gesture that honoured shared achievements while acknowledging the possibilities that lie ahead.
Throughout the night, guests were immersed in a carefully curated experience that combined refined entertainment with a multi-course dining offering and exceptional drinks, all designed to foster connection without the familiar burdens of end-of-year planning.
The atmosphere encouraged genuine interaction among leaders and their teams, punctuated by interactive moments, surprises and prize opportunities, before giving way to a lively after-party that carried on well into the night. Many attendees remarked on the precision of the organisation and the attention to detail, noting that the event allowed them to celebrate their teams meaningfully, free from the logistical strain that typically accompanies year-end festivities.
The gathering attracted a broad cross-section of forward-thinking leaders from across Nigeria’s business and creative landscape. Among those present were Kennedy Ekezie, Co-Founder of a Stealth AI startup and Founder and CEO of Kippa; Great Nwakaibeya, Co-Founder and CEO of GTI Rides and Kemi Okoya of Privado Luxury, among others.
Companies of varying sizes and sectors were welcomed into the celebration, united by a shared commitment to excellence, growth and strong workplace culture. The choice of black glamour attire lent the evening a cohesive and dignified visual character, reinforcing its premium tone. Supported by event partners including Chivas Nigeria, Events Architects and GTI Rides, the night unfolded with a smoothness that left a lasting impression on attendees.
With its successful debut, the Q5 Party has announced itself as Lagos’ leading inter-company end-of-year celebration, a dignified space where leaders honour their teams, acknowledge collective victories and usher in the holiday season with confidence, poise and a sense of earned renewal.
