In a separate development, one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous radio stations, “Adamimogo” FM radio has commenced operation in the ancient city of Ibadan.

The new radio station, sited in Mokola area of Ibadan, with the frequency 105.1FM started off on Wednesday Jan 17, 2024 with a test transmission that is expected to run for a couple of weeks.

The test transmission, is designed to help the new FM station to ascertain its reach and to know and modify its service to the already excited audience .

Adamimogo 105.1FM owned by Prophet Olu Alo is expressly set and positioned to be a voice of light to Oyo State and other neighbouring states while fulfilling its mandate of educating, entertaining and informing the people as a contemporary radio station.

Recall that Prophet Olu Alo recently visited the site of the new station to offer his blessings and prophetic prayers.

Aside the newly inaugurated Ibadan station, Adamimogo FM radio was first established in Lekki area of Lagos State while Ekiti station is underway.

Reacting to the Ibadan incident, the renowned cleric, in a statement made available to newsmen by his Personal Assistant on Media, Hon Deji Ogunbusuyi, also sympathised with the families of the victims and those whose properties were damaged, describing the incident as terrifying and worrisome,

“The explosion in a peaceful and populated ancient city like Ibadan is terrifying. It is more worrisome that it happened at a time when the government is tackling various security issues and threats to lives and property.

“My heart goes out to the people of Ibadan, especially the victims and their families over their avoidable losses.”

The religious leader commended Governor Makinde for the swift manner he responded to the incident and urged law enforcement agencies in the state to get to the root of the matter and bring the culprits to justice.

“The Adamimogo 105. 1 FM Radio in Ibadan and Adamimogo Worldwide commiserate with Governor Makinde and the people of Oyo State, especially victims of the explosion.

“ it is regrettable that while the government is busy making concerted efforts to ensure progress and development, some individuals, through their nefarious activities, have wreaked havoc and caused pains for fellow citizens.”

Prophet Olu Alo urged Governor Makinde not to be discouraged or distracted by the development.
