The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) and the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign have announced a strategic partnership aimed at mobilising support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the January 2027 presidential election.

The development was disclosed in Abuja during a courtesy visit by the National Coordinator of the Global Alliance for Tinubu Campaign, Dr. Abubakar Jimoh, to the Director-General of TSG. Jimoh, a public relations practitioner, said both organisations had agreed on a multi-pronged campaign approach designed to secure a decisive victory for the president at the polls.

He explained that the campaign would prioritise issue-based engagement, focusing on what he described as the administration’s achievements over the past three years rather than relying on slogans or theatrics. According to him, the alliance also plans to harness the influence and resources of Nigerians in the diaspora under the coordination of its Global Convener, Prince Bevis Paul Igbinoba.

Jimoh called on eligible voters across the country to renew the president’s mandate, noting that continuity would enable the administration to consolidate ongoing economic reforms and deliver on its “Renewed Hope” agenda.

In his remarks, the Director-General of TSG, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai, reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the group into a broad-based, pan-Nigerian campaign platform. He stressed the importance of collaboration among pro-Tinubu groups, stating that shared objectives made unity essential for electoral success.

Yakassai also commended the Global Alliance’s grassroots mobilisation plan, which targets the delivery of five million votes nationwide in support of the president’s re-election bid. “The partnership signals a coordinated effort among key support groups to strengthen political structures ahead of the 2027 general election,” he added.
