Primate Ayodele Elijah of INRI Evangelical Church has said the United States of America is not genuinely interested in helping Nigeria, but only concerned with what she intends to benefit from the country.

The man of God, who made the remark during his annual thanksgiving held at INRI premises, Isolo, Lagos, yesterday stated that the US would not rest until she gets what she wants from Nigeria.

Ayodele said,“Trump is making the world very hard, they will attempt to assassinate him, but the attempt will fail”.

He commended the Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying his administration has performed well.  “Tinubu has done well, more than Buhari even more than Jonathan.

“I have passed through the Costal Road, and within 30m minutes you are in Calabar. Tinubu has done well, I am not campaigning for him, but I am just saying the truth here”.

Ayodele empowered two journalists with two cars. One Peugeot 307 SW was given to Kehinde Oyetimi of the Nigerian Tribune, Ibadan. Another journalist, Bola Ajewolu of Golden Heritage also smiled home with a golf car gift.

According to him, “journalists are not well paid. The the only way I can help them is to empower them with the much I can.”
