The presidency has promised to work closely with stakeholders in Osun State for economic and infrastructure development.
The Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, Kareem Khadijat, who spoke at a town hall meeting with market women, farmer’s group students and civil societies in Osogbo, the state capital, on Monday, noted that the presidency is aware of challenges facing the people of the state from infrastructure development to economic empowerment.
She explained that President Bola Tinubu is committed to the quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities for the people of the state, assuring that “we will work closely with local stakeholders, community leaders, and civil society organizations.”
“All our discussion here will be communicated to Mr President with immediate actions and to assure you that your voice will be heard. We will cultivate trust by being transparent, responsive, and accountable to your needs.
“We will address real-world challenges and have a tangible impact on your lives.
Avail us with any federal abandoned project in your domain,” Kareem added.
Governor Ademola Adeleke thanked President Tinubu for his commitment to the development of the state that is devoid of political colouration.
Represented by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke assured of his commitment to federal-state partnership, and looked forward to the completion of abandoned federal roads across the state.
“Our people also appreciate Mr President for the palliatives. Our government distributed the palliatives and also expanded the content and reach. “Our people support the president’s reform efforts. The president has our support in the drive to rebuild the national economy. As a state, we are also happy with the increasing partnership between the subnational and the centre. Building the nation demands collective efforts,” Adeleke.
