A middle-aged pregnant woman and her 18-month-old son have been killed in the metropolis of Kano State.
The tragedy, which reportedly happened on Saturday night, occurred at the Sheka Saburwa Gundu area of the metropolis of the state.
Daily Sun gathered that tragedy came to public light when the deceased’s husband returned from work at about 830 pm or thereabouts, only to find that his residence had been locked from the outside
When the door to the residence was eventually unlocked, the deceased husband, including his neighbours discovered the lifeless bodies of the woman and her son, both of whom were reportedly burnt after being attacked.
Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the incident and said an investigation had commenced.
