Poly student killed in Ondo

A student of the Ondo State government owned Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo,  Oluwaseun has been brutally killed by unknown assailants.

It was gathered that Oluwaseun, a student of the department of Mass Communication, was killed at Opomulero Street in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

A student of the institution, who preferred anonymity, told journalists that the deceased had barely spent a month on campus as a new student.

He was also said to be a course representative and a musician.

He said,“the deceased was a fresh student who had spent just three to four weeks on campus. In fact, he was a course representative. It is sad that we lost him.”

Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Samuel Ojo, who confirmed the incident, described the incident as unfortunate.
